Just a quick thought or two. This thing costs way too much. Assuming everyone out there who is looking at this has a hdtv, for this price why wouldn't you just buy a ps3 or get a couple blueray drives and network your pc to your tv? You could burn blueray discs if you did it that way too. I just don't understand the pricing of some of this stuff. This should be $100 cheaper.

I cannot believe that a user of this wonderful machine gave it less than 5 stars. This is my third blu ray player, the other two are by Sony. This player blows those away. It plays my vast dvd library, both standard and bluray with no problems at all. I find the speed of this player far surpasses every other. Do not hesitate to buy this one of a kind blu ray player.

Most of the features of my new UNB40B7000WF are what I expected and hoped for. However, DO NOT BELIEVE SAMSUNG ADS! PIP IS NOT REAL PIP! I have an old Toshiba model 35A60 TV that has real PIP with two tuners. So unfortunately, I thought all PIP TV's had the same features. This Samsung "PIP" TV has only one tuner and depends on a secondary source for the second tuner. This requires additional cable hook-ups whether you had intended them or not. I am very disappointed, because I paid twice as much as necessary to get what I expected and then Samsung duped me into buying this model.Samsung UN40B7000 40-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV

I had this product less than a month, I bought it last June 18, 2009. First I'm so excited to have it co'z i like the design and the features of this product are awesome. But when I stream it to my PC my nightmare begins. It took me one week to do it just to stream it to my PC.Even the samsung technician cannot figure it out how to do it. I keep calling back and forth from samsung and to my server for one week. I was so frustrated. So please! YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TRYING TO SUGGEST WITH THIS PRODUCT.

Months ago I purchased Samsung blu-ray player for a good deal of money - since then I have been quite happy with it. Recently a firmware updated was released - without prior notification it added the ability to have YouTube on the player.

After searching for a way to disable it, I called customer support several times - there is no way to disable YouTube. There is no scenario where I would allow YouTube in my home and expose my family to everything that is vile contained on it. Don't trust me? Don't believe? Search for the keyword boobs and see what you get. Or x or y - you should see my point. I cannot have a product that makes it more difficult than it already is to raise a family.

Samsung did NOT have the feature when it was purchased, did not install with any warning, did not install with any permission and has no way to disable it. To say the least I am a very frustrated customer and now very unhappy with a device that I can no longer have in my home.
