I purchased this from Sams Club for $129. Sounds like an awesome deal but I am taking it back and getting my money. The Netflix bug (google it!) is driving me nuts. If you pause, forward, reverse, or anything other than just watching a movie non-stop it will freeze about every 4 minutes. You have to pick a different scene and wait for it to buffer to continue watching. You continue this ongoing unless you turn the player off and back on. It makes watching a movie unbearable. I couldn't get the DHCP part to function correctly using hard wired, but static was fine. I see a line in the video starting at the bottom and work its way up about half way and goes away, seems to appear about every 3 minutes and it doesn't matter if you are watching a DVD, Blu-Ray, Youtube or Netflix. I am using the HDMI cable that came with the unit. The audio gets off track and then is so distored, the only thing you can do is turn it off and back on again. Makes watching a movie, a real chore. Wife said sent the piece of junk back. I purchasd this for the Blu-Ray and Netflix and I am extremely dispointed.

Taking advantage of all the features of the Samsung BD-P1590 is going to cost you. The player is around $150, but it doesn't have wireless or a hard drive built in. Add $80 for a proprietary wireless adapter and $20 for a USB drive. That is getting into PS3 territory, which is a much better buy, and a better player.

I did not like this blu-ray player because of the false advertisment. The box said Wireless Ready, but it was not ...it was actually Wireless Capable. And they made ti so that you have to buy Samsung WIS09ABGN LinkStick Wireless LAN Adapter which is $80. This is absolutely ludicrous.

Bought this unit from Costco couple of days thanks for the $30.00 coupon. This is my very first Blue Ray DVD player. My first Blue Ray DVD disc was "Deliverance". It went straight to the movie and did not even stop at the "Menu" set up. Our second movie was "Horton" the cartoon and this one worked fine. Then the 3rd movie "Friday the 13th" could not be played and I had tried several times on this movie. The 1590 seemed cannot syn with my SONY 46". The 4th movie could not be played with this 1590 either. Tonight my family tried to play the 5th Blue Ray DVD movie and it did NOT work either!!!

My TV display showed 480 only instead of 1080. Seems the 1590 doesn't communicate with my SONY.

Not sure if I got a bad unit or what but I will do an exchange. This is the very first time I bought a Samsung product and I'm disappointed. Probably I should buy a SONY, like the S350, S360, S550 or the S560.

I purchased a blu-ray player and the box says "wireless ready", it isnt, unless you want to purchase another add on product for $80! I called customer service and their best option was for me to spend even more money. I asked for a manager and was hung up on two times!!! If you want to do business with a company that cares about more than just your money then this company isnt for you. Horrible service, horrible misleading advertising, horrible company! SAMSUNG, YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE![[ASIN:B002HIZQ0W Samsung Wi-Fi Blu-ray Player
