dusnt h e mention 1963 in one of his songs lol
haha this is awesome! my dad is a top guy at fish & game up here in alaska and he got to go down to this conference… he had no idea neil would be there.. he happens to have been a neil fan since he was a kid in the 60s.. his favorite for sure, and mine as well. he told me how insanely stoked he was when they brought neil out.
Man, this is ridiculous. I hope Neil got a large amount of money to do this.
He played with the late, great Rick “Super Freak” James in a band called, The Mynah Birds in 1965 and were signed to Motown but most of their material has never been released and Archives 1 won’t have any Mynah Birds tracks, unfortunately.
He played with a band called the Monks back before anythuing really. not very well known atall.
His pre-Buffalo Springfield stuff isn’t as well known and this series is going to be great for music history.
Wow, I didn’t know Neil goes back to 1963. Thought he started around ’66 or ’67.
cool username name “everybodysalone” . luv that Neil Young song. Yeah…wont be cheap. I may wait till I can get it on ebay which will probably be five years! if that soon.
Quite likely I’ll have to bone up the cash if I can afford it when it comes out.
totally agree, iv always thought neil was really funny in a of beat way. total legend. cant wait for these disks to come out. ill have too start saving my pennies tho.
The music beeing showed here sounds great, i havent got to hear these
thanks for this post. found it impossible to watch on other sites because i’m on slow dsl.
This should be incredible. Neil is a comedian. I obviously mean that as a compliment, as it simply shows in another way his a renaissance man qualities. One of a kind. He has enriched so many lives with his music and individualistic way of doing things. Keep on Rockin’ in the Free World. We all know you’re having a blast. Thanks for doing what you do.
